About The Position

PAM Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN Nights. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The role involves planning, coordinating, and providing patient care, including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. The position may also include Charge Nurse duties, which require ACLS certification.

Requirements

Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
Current BLS certification is required.
Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Nice To Haves

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.

Patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization.
