About The Position

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an acute care hospital setting, specifically in a Senior Behavioral Health Unit. The role focuses on senior patients with behavioral health needs and includes assessment, individualized care planning, therapeutic interventions, progress monitoring, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The position is for a 13-week assignment, with a night shift from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., starting ASAP.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• De-escalation training, such as SAMA or CPI.
• Previous experience in a geriatric psychiatric unit.
• Recent experience in a Senior Behavioral Health unit in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to senior patients with behavioral health needs.
• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
