About The Position

Elderwood at Burlington is under new leadership and is building a special environment. They are inviting healthcare professionals to explore career opportunities, meet the leadership team, learn about their vision, and interview on-site during their upcoming Careers in Care event. This posting is the primary application for all Registered Nurse opportunities, including Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem positions. Requirements

  • Credentials verifying appropriate certificate and license in New York State- RN.
  • Current State license/Certificate required.
  • Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing required.
  • Qualities of maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with others required.
  • Caring, respectful attitude toward residents required.
  • Physical stamina for constant activity required.
  • Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required.

  • Regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in ensuring the general health and well-being of residents by providing direct nursing care.
  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, assess, and evaluate resident care to maintain the highest degree of quality care and regulatory compliance.
  • Screen prospective residents for placement within the Elderwood organization.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for families and referral sources, helping them navigate care options and ensuring appropriate evaluation for services.
  • Support census growth, timely admissions, and a smooth transition process for new residents.
  • Bring a well-rounded understanding of Elderwood’s services, staffing, routines, and clinical operations.
