About The Position

The Registered Nurse is responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The RN delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. The position contributes to the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission, if applicable, and other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.

This is a temporary position at Essentia Living Center, with a 0.9 FTE and a day rotation from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The schedule includes working every third weekend and holidays; there is no call obligation.

Requirements

• Current nursing licensure in the state(s) of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification at the time of hire.
