The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing quality patient care, including performing nursing assessments, developing and implementing effective plans of care in collaboration with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families. This role involves administering medications and treatments, delegating patient care responsibilities, and supervising other personnel. The RN will also be involved in evaluating performance, initiating disciplinary actions, and preparing performance evaluations for staff. The position requires the ability to function independently, demonstrate personal integrity, and effectively work with residents, personnel, and support agencies, including those who are ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, or hostile. Additionally, the RN must be prepared to assist in resident evacuation during emergencies.
