About The Position
Select Specialty Hospital - Savannah is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU care to chronically and critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses provide compassionate, excellent treatment to patients throughout their care. The hospital offers an extensive orientation program and flexible per diem scheduling, with potential for advancement to full-time opportunities.
Requirements
- Valid state RN license.
- BLS certification required at hire.
- ACLS certification required at hire.

- Clinical experience.
Responsibilities
- Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
- Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
- Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
- Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
- Demonstrate competence in rapid response and code events.
- Instruct and counsel patients and families.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
