About The Position

Metropoltian Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility) is a growing 144-bed behavioral health facility that provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults and older adults. They also perform behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day and offer programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues. The facility provides a robust outpatient program utilizing a combination of group, family and individual therapy. Position Summary: RNs coordinate and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. They oversee and direct the LPNs and MHTs on their units to provide for the safety and needs of the patients. A passion to work with teens is ideal.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited professional nursing required
RN license issued by the State of Michigan
Full-Time Night Shift (7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.)
This position also works rotating holidays and every other weekend.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree preferred
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred
A passion to work with teens is ideal
