About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 14-bed medical-surgical unit. This position requires dedication to providing high-quality patient care and involves working alongside a skilled team in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a medical-surgical setting.
- BLS/BCLS (Basic Life Support/ Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered nursing care in a 14-bed med-surg unit.
- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5.
- Float to other med-surg units as needed, based on staffing requirements.
- Participate in weekend shifts as outlined in the 6-week schedule (6 weekends required).
- Work a fair share of holiday shifts to support unit coverage.
