About The Position

This position is located in our Tyler Office, with traveling to our Palestine and Lindale locations as well. This is a rare opportunity in a highly desirable, top-tier practice. We're growing and looking for exceptional people to join our team and need a Registered Nurse (RN) willing to complete the RDA program to support the Southern Surgical Arts team by providing excellent pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative patient care. We are looking for team members who are highly motivated and looking to work in a fast paced and high volume facility. You will be an integral part of the team with a wide range of responsibilities and opportunities for learning and growth.

Requirements

  • The most important requirement of this position is the capability to genuinely serve our patients on every level, including the ability to enhance patient satisfaction and increase office efficiency.
  • You must be able to positively impact patients, coworkers, referring offices and the practice as a whole.
  • RN/RDA and BLS a MUST.
  • ACLS and PALS are required to get after employed if not already certified.

Responsibilities

  • Starting IVs.
  • Assisting Doctor in surgeries, seating patients, and taking vitals.
  • Maintaining competency for anesthesia monitoring.
  • Completing consent forms and treatment plans.
  • Documenting and maintaining records/charting within standards.
  • Giving pre and post-operative instructions obtaining medical clearances.
  • Maintaining lab and adhering to OSHA and Regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide radiation protection to all patients in accordance with TSBDE and TDH guidelines and requirements.
  • Produce radiographic images that consistently display proper exposure techniques and correct anatomical positioning values.
  • Preparing and maintaining clinical equipment and instruments.
  • Maintain good rapport and cooperative relationships.
  • Approach conflict in a constructive manner.
  • Identify problems, offer solutions, and participate in their resolution.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of information acquired pertaining to patients, doctors, employees and visitors.
  • Discuss patient, clinic and hospital information only among appropriate personnel in appropriately private places.
  • Providing an excellent patient experience as well as other duties as assigned.
