Requirements

  • Graduated from an accredited school of nursing and possesses a current Registered Nurse license, in good standing, from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

  • The Registered Nurse RN charge nurse is responsible for the overall care of the residents within the household.
  • He/she assesses human response and plans, implements and evaluates nursing care.
  • He/she is responsible for all associated and clinical activities, participating in staff and resident scheduling, and assists, in the supervision and counseling of Nurse Aides, Resident Coordinators, or Resident Assistants.
  • Always functions within the limit of the Pennsylvania State Professional Standards Title 49 Chapter.
