About The Position

At Riverview Village, the Registered Nurse has the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships by learning about residents’ and staff members’ life stories. Requirements

Current, valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
Proficient medication management skills.
Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
Ability to demonstrate C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
Supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being through nursing care.
Provide a supportive and engaging atmosphere for residents.
Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
Work with others toward the shared goal of excellent resident care.
Support a respectful and positive work environment.
Manage medications.
Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values when interacting with residents, family members, customers, and staff.
