About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides outpatient surgery nursing care at Grand Haven Hospital. The role includes collecting and documenting comprehensive patient health data, identifying expected outcomes, formulating nursing diagnoses, and developing, communicating, and documenting individualized plans of care. The nurse implements and documents planned interventions and evaluates and documents patient progress.

This is a part-time, day-shift position with a variable start time. Weekends and holidays are not required. Grand Haven Hospital is part of Trinity Health, a Catholic healthcare organization. Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications, or completion of these certifications within one year of hire into the position.
• Previous nursing clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health and the situation.
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized for the patient and the situation.
• Formulate, communicate, and document nursing diagnoses based on assessment of collected health data.
• Develop, communicate, and document a plan of care prescribing nursing actions to achieve expected patient outcomes.
• Implement, communicate, and document interventions identified in the plan of care.
• Evaluate and document the patient’s progress.
