About The Position

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Home Care team serving 37 counties across Central and Southern Illinois. Ideal candidates are patient-focused, mission-driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to provide high-quality, personalized care to patients in the comfort of their homes. This role is part of a compassionate, team-based hospice program that includes nurses, social workers, chaplains, aides, and volunteers, all working together to support patients and families through every stage of the hospice journey.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license, automobile insurance and own transportation to make home visits is required.
  • Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing is preferred.
  • Prior experience in home health or hospice is preferred.
  • 1 year acute nursing experience is preferred.
