About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient and family-centered nursing care, operating within an environment that prioritizes best practices and customer service. This role fosters relationship-based care and upholds professional nursing standards, guided by the ANA Code of Ethics, Indiana Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Process, and regulatory agency standards. The RN is responsible for patient care and shared leadership within their unit. Acute Care departments where this role may function include Medical Units, Surgery Units, Emergency Departments, Intensive Care Unit, Childbirth Center, Pediatric Unit, Operating Room, Hibbeln, Perianesthesia, Endoscopy/GI, and Cardiac Cath Lab.

Requirements

Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing; or if a graduate from a nursing school that is not accredited, a minimum of five years of acute care nursing experience is required to be considered; or an advanced degree from an accredited school.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree, (BSN), preferred or required within five years from date of hire.
Area specific required education may be obtained upon hire and is to be maintained, e.g. ACLS, BLS, PALS, specialty certification, etc.
Current licensure by the Indiana State Board of Nurses’ Registration and Nursing Education as an active Registered Nurse.
