With an average length of stay 25-30 days, the RN is able to develop strong relationships with our patients and play a critical role in their recovery. RN’s at Gaylord Hospital have a voice in their practice and have a strong Shared Governance model in place.

Requirements

RN Diploma or ASN required
Current CT RN license required
Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required

Nice To Haves

BSN or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field preferred

Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process to provide physical, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual dimensions of care to patients and their families, including educational and discharge needs.
Plays a critical role in patient recovery, developing strong relationships due to an average length of stay of 25-30 days.
