As a PRN Nurse at BlueDot Cares, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their homes.

Requirements

Current and valid nursing license in North Carolina.
Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience, with a focus on home care or a related healthcare setting.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to a variety of patient needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Nice To Haves

Home care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' healthcare needs, collaborating with clients and their families to develop personalized care plans.
Create and update care plans based on the evolving needs of clients.
Perform 90 day followups on all active clients.
Participate in new caregiver orientation.
Help evaluate caregiver competencies.
Monitor clients' health status, recognizing any changes and promptly reporting concerns to the healthcare team.
Provide ongoing observation to ensure a safe and comfortable home environment.
Educate clients and their families on health management, preventive care, and self-care techniques.
Offer emotional support and guidance to clients and families facing health challenges.
Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, their families, and other healthcare team members.
Document all care provided accurately and in a timely manner.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including therapists and care coordinators, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to enhance overall care quality.
