About The Position

Rosewood, one of 13 HumanGood communities named "Best Nursing Homes 2024-2025" by U.S. News & World Report is seeking an experienced, Full-time PM shift (2:30 pm - 8:30 pm) Registered Nurse (RN) for its 5-star Skilled Nursing team. Under general supervision, the RN is responsible for the total nursing needs of residents, while actively incorporating HumanGood’s “Philosophy for Person-Directed Care;” ensures a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors to participate in the resident’s daily life rhythm; develops assignments in coordination with the care partners; and keeps each team member accountable for resident care and satisfaction. PER DIEM Open Availability Morning Shift: 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM Day Shift: 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM Night Shift 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM $37-$45/hr. (Depending On Experience)

Requirements

• Completion of Licensed Registered Nursing Program (RN)
• Current RN license in California
• Current CPR certification
• Excellent clinical observation and assessment skills
• Proficient computer skills necessary to complete documentation, review electronic health records and communicate with team members

Responsibilities

• Facilitates nursing care provided to all residents and includes residents in decision making processes
• Actively engages residents in participation in daily activities which are part of resident’s rhythm of daily life (including desired hygiene, grooming, and mobility)
• May lead and direct care partners by providing support, encouragement, and direction as appropriate
• Makes frequent rounds and utilizes the nursing process to identify resident conditions that require further evaluation and treatment by a physician
• Reports significant medical changes to the relevant Team Members, Physician, DON, HSA and designated family members as appropriate
• Responds to emergency situations, carries out physician orders, and documents the event, interventions, and outcomes
• Accurately and completely performs direct nursing services, such as, medication administration, treatments, personal care and other nursing procedures
• Accurately receives documents and transcribes Physician Orders with the appropriate follow-through in a timely fashion, specifically advocating resident safety
