Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Hemodialysis Float
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Inpatient Hemodialysis Float provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The role uses evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassionate communication, and nursing skills to help create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum of care. The Float RN provides 1:1 acute care across multiple communities and travels to sites including Marinette, Green Bay, Oshkosh, Manitowoc, and Sheboygan. The position is full time, with a schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., a call rotation from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. consisting of 6–7 shifts in an 8-week block (including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays), and a weekend rotation of one Saturday every 8 weeks. Float premiums apply.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
