About The Position

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the United States, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care across diverse healthcare settings. Requirements

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing principles, patient care standards, and medical terminology.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform clinical nursing procedures safely and effectively.
  • The required skills enable you to perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer treatments, and document care accurately, ensuring patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Your clinical knowledge and technical proficiency allow you to respond effectively to emergencies and complex medical situations.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records facilitates efficient documentation and communication within the healthcare team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for educating patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • Advanced certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Experience working in specialized units such as ICU, ER, or Pediatrics.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with experience in patient education or mentoring.
  • Advanced certifications and experience with specialized units enhance your ability to provide expert care in critical or specialized environments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify health status and care needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient conditions and physician directives.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately while monitoring patient responses.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and institutional standards.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide critical care as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to stay current with nursing best practices.
  • Provides direct and indirect patient care through the application of the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating care rendered.
