For more than 40 years, we’ve developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries.

Requirements

• State Licensure as a Registered Nurse, preferably with a degree in nursing (BSN) is required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
• Ability to lift 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Provides registered nursing and facilitation services for assigned clients within designated site.
• Responsible for assessment and interventions for assigned residential clients.
• Designs and implements treatment strategies based on scientific nursing theory, evidence based practice and principles to promote health and medical stability.
• Provides training to clients or family members regarding how to promote health, wellness and medical stability as well as to staff.
• Directs the practice of the LPN and/or CMA's on the unit.
• May participate in program’s on-call rotation.
• Coordinates nursing assessments, treatment planning, implementation of care and health evaluations.
• Completes regular comprehensive examinations with clients, provides concise written assessments to document the examination, summarizes findings and establishes ongoing and monthly health maintenance goals in a timely fashion.
• Timely identification of individuals in need of medical/nursing services or intervention.
• Provides interventions as needed.
• Trains/educates families, funders, employers, and others as needed to support the treatment and discharge plan.
