Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN Nights | Wausau Rehab
About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) working PRN Nights at Wausau Rehab. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. This includes planning, coordinating, and providing patient care, interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. The role may also include performing other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse responsibilities (ACLS certification required).
Requirements
- Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
- BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
