About The Position

NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals (NPH) is hiring full-time Registered Nurses to provide care for patients receiving treatment for behavioral and mental health symptoms. NPH specializes in caring for patients with acute psychiatric and complex medical needs using a patient-centered, interdisciplinary, multi-specialty approach. The role is available for all shifts and involves 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends. The RN works under the general supervision and direction of the Director of Nursing.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license from the state of Ohio.
• Must be able to work full-time hours.
• Passion for quality patient care and serving an underserved population.

Nice To Haves

• One year of mental health, behavioral health, medical-surgical, critical care, or emergency room nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, evaluate, and document all aspects of patient care in accordance with regulatory requirements, established policy, and hospital values and philosophy.
• Assess patients’ needs and initiate, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Coordinate effectively with other shifts to ensure continuity of care and maintain satisfactory relationships with other departments and nursing units.
• Participate in all phases of personnel education, record maintenance, and skills development.
• Provide compassionate, quality patient care to an underserved population.
