About The Position

Liberty Point Behavioral Healthcare, located in Staunton, Virginia, is a 42-bed facility providing trauma-informed psychiatric residential treatment to adolescent males. The facility serves youth with complex emotional, behavioral, and educational difficulties, including those with psychiatric disorders, co-occurring intellectual disabilities, and autism spectrum disorder. Requirements

• Current license to practice nursing in State of Virginia (or eligible to receive or renew)
• Current CPR or BLS certification preferred (can renew as part of New Employee Orientation)
• Must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire
• Ability to successfully complete and pass all components of Handle With Care & Verbal De-escalation Crisis Intervention Training
• Ability to use and supervise Handle With Care (HWC) techniques
• Reflect behavior, attitude, and appearance appropriate to the position and be supportive of the facility and division philosophy, goals, and objectives
• Effectively communicate both verbally and via written documentation

• A pre-hire drug screen, pre-hire background checks, and education verification are required of all new employees.
