About The Position

The Staff Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care by applying nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patients’ plans of care. The nurse serves as the primary caregiver, provides direct patient care, and collaborates with care team members, physicians, patients, and families to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The role involves access to confidential patient information and independent decision-making as well as decision-making in collaboration with others.

This part-time position is in the Main PACU in Chillicothe and is scheduled at 50% FTE. The schedule is 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., working two days one week and three days the next, with on-call coverage every fifth weekend. The Staff Nurse works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required within five years from the date of hire.
• Current Ohio Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
