About The Position

French Prairie Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, part of the Volare Health portfolio, is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for long-term care skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation centers. The center welcomes residents, families, and staff with warm hearts and supports staff with competitive market wages and career guidance. Both newly licensed and experienced RNs are encouraged to apply for full-time, part-time, or PRN positions, with flexible scheduling available. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the development, implementation, and modification of comprehensive care plans for residents and providing independent supervision and delivery of care in the nursing unit. New nurses can participate in a 3-month Long Term Care New Nurse Residency, which includes the Geri-Res residency curriculum and structured onsite mentorship, along with professional development opportunities and a potential incentive payment.

Requirements

Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in practicing state.
Ability to assess resident needs
Skilled in developing individual care plans for patients
A passion for making a difference in the lives of others
Ability to follow state and Federal rules and regulations which govern the practices within the facility.

Responsibilities

development, implementation, and modification of the comprehensive plan of care for facility residents
providing independent supervision and delivery of care to residents in the nursing unit
