Registered Nurse (RN) – Full Time
About The Position
Concord Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team. The primary responsibility of the Registered Nurse (RN) is to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during their assigned shift. The RN ensures that nursing services are delivered in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations, facility policies, and the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). The goal is to maintain the highest degree of quality resident care at all times.
Requirements
- Current and unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or post-acute care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff during assigned shifts.
- Ensure quality resident care is provided in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies.
- Assess residents’ conditions and promptly communicate changes to physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
- Complete and maintain accurate nursing documentation and reports.
- Monitor compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of resident care plans.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to LVNs and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and resident care concerns.
- Promote a positive and respectful environment for residents, families, and staff.
