About The Position

Community Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Infectious Disease Clinic. The RN will work with providers and nursing professionals to deliver specialized outpatient care for patients with infectious and complex medical conditions. The role involves coordinating care, educating patients, supporting treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary partners to improve patient outcomes.

The position is full-time on day shifts, with 8-hour shifts scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The clinic offers an opportunity to build patient relationships, provide education, and contribute to specialty clinic care. Community Medical Center is a 151-bed hospital in Missoula, Montana, serving Western Montana.

Requirements

• Current Montana RN license or Compact RN License with Montana endorsement.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• One year of Infectious Disease Clinic experience within the last 12 months.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• PICC line care and removal experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and triage patient concerns.
• Administer medications, injections, and prescribed treatments.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Provide patient education and ongoing support.
• Coordinate referrals, testing, and follow-up care.
• Document patient care accurately within the EMR.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure exceptional outpatient care.
