About The Position
Rock House is a family-owned business that has been a leader in residential, foster, and in-home support and care for persons with special needs. If you are an RN who wants a fun job working daytime hours, physically non-demanding work, and a place where you can build long-term relationships with patients, Rock House is the place for you! This is a part-time position, roughly 20 hrs per week.
Requirements
- License as RN in the State of Texas.
- Basic word processing, spreadsheet, and computer skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- IDD nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring on-going medical needs of residents in group home settings.
- Performs nursing assessments.
- Develops and implements nursing care plans.
- Completes other clinical documentation.
- Delegation of medication and training regarding medication needs.
- On-call capabilities, primarily triaging by phone after hours.
