About The Position

American Senior Communities is seeking a Registered Nurse for Salem Crossing. The nurse provides care that promotes residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being while building meaningful relationships with residents and staff. This role supports compassionate, coordinated care and contributes to a positive, respectful work environment grounded in the company’s C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence. Day and night shifts are available. Pay is $36.50–$39 per hour based on experience, with additional pay of $4 per hour for nights and $6 per hour for weekends.

Requirements

• Hold a current, valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Have proficient medication management skills.
• Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
• Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
• Demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being through nursing care.
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive resident care.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments and accurately document changes in condition.
