About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Med Surg team for day shifts. The nurse will provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, with a patient ratio of five patients to one nurse. The role includes charge capabilities and may involve supervising and supporting junior nursing staff. Patients may include orthopedic, geriatric, general medical-surgical, swing bed (rehabilitation), and occasionally pediatric patients. Housing accommodations are available when needed. Professional attire is required; there is no specific scrub color requirement.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Availability for one to two weekends per four-week scheduling rotation.
