About The Position
Texoma Medical Center is hiring a full-time operating room (OR) circulator. Overtime and additional shifts may be available for interested nurses. The role provides safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy, while offering professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Patient-centered care is the foundation for nursing practice, and the nurse is expected to demonstrate Service Excellence standards. Professional nursing association standards of practice guide competent, safe, and professional care. Texoma Medical Center is a 414-bed acute care facility serving North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. Its services include open heart surgery, neurosurgery, and certified trauma care. Requirements
- Current Texas nursing license or compact license.
- One year of full-time experience in an acute OR setting.
- RQI BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
- Complete the BLS Healthcare Provider course under RQI program guidelines and all required ECC Healthcare Provider courses during new-hire orientation or upon transfer, and before working in a clinical setting.
- Successfully pass any pre-employment assessments required by the facility.
- Ability to identify and competently address the needs of populations served.
