About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital - Tallahassee is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU care to chronic, critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses play a central role in delivering compassionate, excellent care throughout patients’ recovery. This full-time position is for nights, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., in Tallahassee. Compensation is $33.43–$45.00 per hour based on years of experience, with competitive night and weekend shift differentials. A limited-time $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Requirements

Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
BLS certification required at hire.
ACLS certification required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
Complete timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
Demonstrate competence in Rapid Response and code events.
Instruct and counsel patients and families.
Perform other duties as assigned.
