PRN 7 On 7 Off On Call Registered Nurse (RN)
About The Position
We are seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our new and growing office. This role operates on a '7 on 7 off' schedule and includes a daily stipend, per-visit compensation, and mileage reimbursement. The position is expected to transition into a full-time role as the patient census increases. The RN will be responsible for administering skilled nursing care to patients of all ages in their homes, conducting patient admissions and routine visits, coordinating care within the hospice interdisciplinary team, and communicating with physicians and other healthcare providers. The role requires accountability, flexibility, respect, integrity, and adherence to legal requirements, company standards, policies, and procedures, including timely submission of paperwork.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Missouri.
- Must have a current Missouri Driver's license and dependable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of experience as a RN in the hospice setting.
Responsibilities
- Administer skilled nursing for all ages in their place of residence.
- Conduct patient admissions.
- Conduct routine patient visits.
- Coordinate care within a hospice interdisciplinary team to assure patient/family needs are met.
- Communicate with attending physicians, hospice physicians, and other physicians involved in the patient's care.
- Demonstrate accountability, flexibility, respect, and integrity.
- Comply with applicable legal requirements, company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Timely submit all required paperwork.
