About The Position

Castor Home Health Solutions is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 nursing care for a teenager in Peoria during a consistent 4:00 PM–11:00 PM evening shift. This case includes TPN administration and central line care, making it a great fit for an RN who wants to use their clinical skills without juggling a large patient assignment. Central line experience is preferred, but don't count yourself out if you need case-specific training. We'd still love to talk with you. This role allows you to care for ONE patient throughout your shift, utilize your RN skills with TPN and central line care, have more time for focused assessments and individualized care, build a meaningful relationship with one teenager and family, and receive paid case-specific training, 24/7 clinical support, and work a consistent, long-term case.

Requirements

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Strong assessment and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Central line experience preferred
• TPN experience preferred
• Pediatric or private duty nursing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Administering and monitoring TPN as ordered
• Providing central line care and monitoring
• Assessing and monitoring your patient's condition
• Administering medications and treatments
• Following the individualized plan of care
• Completing required nursing documentation
• Communicating with the family and Castor clinical team
• Providing compassionate, age-appropriate care
