About The Position

We are looking for qualified Registered Charge Nurse to join our department for a Fulltime Weekend Day Shift position. This role is located in the Surgery department at Texas Health Fort Worth. The department is fast-paced and high-volume, averaging 75 surgeries per day. It is a Level I Trauma Candidate performing high-acuity and intense surgical procedures, offering excellent clinical experience. Surgical offerings include Robotics, Complex spine and ortho trauma, and intricate plastic surgery cases.

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program
• RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 Days
• A high degree of confidentiality
• Positive interpersonal skills
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
