About The Position
The On-Call Registered Nurse RN will administer skilled nursing care for clients of all ages in their place of residence. This role involves coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team, patient/family, and referring agency, and assuming responsibility for care coordination. The position is primarily focused on weekend on-call duties, covering Friday 5pm to Monday 9am, within the Gwinnett, Forsyth, and Dekalb Counties territory. This is a full-time role within a growing network of hospice and palliative care organizations dedicated to delivering best-in-class care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Associate or bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Current state license as an RN
- Current state driver’s license
- Two years’ experience as an RN in a clinical care setting
- Current CPR certification
- Proficient skill using a computer is required
- Demonstrate skill in nursing practice
- Ability to cope with family emotional stress
- Tolerance of individual lifestyles
Nice To Haves
- Hospice or home health experience preferred
- Microsoft office suite experience is preferred
