About The Position

Our CICU is a 12-bed centralized area to provide for the care of adult patients with acute cardiac disorders, including: acute myocardial infarction/cardiogenic shock, post cardiac arrest, acute coronary syndrome, congestive heart failure, conduction abnormalities/arrhythmias, Post intervention: cardiac stent, carotid stent, aortic endograft, Pulmonary Embolus/peripheral vascular interventions/ thrombolytic-EKOS, post valve interventions. Requirements

Current Michigan Nursing License
Graduation from accredited nursing program
BLS Certification

Nice To Haves

BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years

Responsibilities

Provide care for adult patients with acute cardiac disorders.
Manage patients with acute myocardial infarction/cardiogenic shock.
Care for post cardiac arrest patients.
Treat patients with acute coronary syndrome.
Manage congestive heart failure.
Address conduction abnormalities/arrhythmias.
Provide post-intervention care for cardiac stent, carotid stent, and aortic endograft procedures.
Care for patients with Pulmonary Embolus/peripheral vascular interventions/ thrombolytic-EKOS.
Provide post-valve intervention care.
