CVCU Registered Nurse (RN)
About The Position
Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Multispecialty Care team. Ideal candidates are patient-focused, mission-driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to coordinate and perform hands-on acute patient care at the bedside. This role is within the CVCU department and involves night shifts, 36 hours per week, from 7pm to 7am, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL. The position offers a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 and compensation that aligns with experience. HSHS is a health care system serving communities in Illinois and Wisconsin, with 13 hospitals and numerous health centers and clinics. HSHS requires COVID-19 vaccines or an approved medical or religious exemption for all colleagues, except for positions classified as 100% remote.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Experience in healthcare is preferred.
