Registered Nurse (RN)
About The Position
The Registered Nurse assesses residents’ needs, develops individualized care plans, administers nursing care, evaluates care, and supervises nursing assistants and other personnel delivering care in a skilled nursing facility. The RN’s supervision must comply with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as direction from the Director of Nursing Services or designee, to maintain the highest quality of care. The RN follows health, sanitary, and infection-control policies and established standards of practice set by the community’s administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures. Full-time opportunities are available on the night shift, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Facility-specific benefit details may vary.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- Current CPR certification.
- Basic computer skills and ability to navigate software programs, including electronic health record software.
Responsibilities
- Assess residents’ needs.
- Develop individualized care plans.
- Administer nursing care and evaluate the care provided.
- Supervise nursing assistants and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care.
- Follow applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and directions from the Director of Nursing Services or designee.
