We currently have an exciting opportunity for RNs to work in our Center for Perioperative Care! We are looking for per diem staff with a schedule of 10-hour shifts, Day/Evening rotation) with no weekend commitments required. The primary office hours are 5:30am-9:30pm. The expert team at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Center for Perioperative Care provides every patient with all of the necessary information to ensure a stress-free and comfortable care experience. The RNs deliver care to adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients who are 16 years and older. Prepares patients for surgery/procedures and provides Phase I and II recovery care. Nurses rotate through the Pre-Procedure Evaluation (PPE) Program assessing pre-surgical and procedural patients whose ages range from pediatric to geriatric. Our dynamic RN team assesses all age groups, including pediatrics, by our PPE Phone Program. Mass General Hospital's Department of Surgery provides over 20,000 surgeries a year.
