About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) - General Medicine position is located at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. The role is within the General Medicine Unit (8AE), a 26-bed unit providing compassionate, evidence-based care for adults with complex, non-surgical illnesses, often involving multiple comorbidities. The unit prioritizes dignity, independence, and holistic well-being, with a team that works collaboratively to deliver personalized treatment plans. The role utilizes tools like Ambient Listening for voice-activated documentation. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- At least one year RN experience
Responsibilities
- Providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
- Delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills.
- Leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
