Registered Nurse (RN)
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) assesses residents’ needs, develops individualized care plans, administers and evaluates nursing care, and supervises nursing assistants and other personnel delivering care in a skilled nursing facility. Supervision and care must follow current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as directions from the Director of Nursing Services or designee, to maintain the highest degree of quality care. The nurse follows health, sanitary, and infection-control policies and established standards of practice set by the community’s administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures. The position is located at Hillsdale Health & Rehab Center in Charlottesville, Virginia. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available; shifts vary. Pay is $38.00–$44.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN or LPN in the state of employment.
- Current CPR certification.
- Basic computer skills and ability to navigate software programs, including electronic health record software.
Responsibilities
- Assess residents’ needs.
