About The Position

Forest Acres Post Acute is seeking dedicated and energetic Registered Nurses (RNs) to join their team. Requirements

  • Active RN License in SC
  • Long-term care experience preferred (but not required)
  • Strong communication & leadership skills
  • Compassionate heart and positive attitude
  • Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
  • 2 years or more experience preferably in a long-term care facility
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Ability to read technical procedures
  • Ability to read and comprehend policy and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations

Responsibilities

  • Providing compassionate nursing care to residents.

  • Participating in facility surveys.

  • Completing accident/incident reports.

  • Assisting in preparing reports for committees.

  • Notifying physicians and next-of-kin of resident condition changes.
  • Observing and evaluating resident physical and emotional status.

  • Providing direct nursing care as necessary.
