About The Position

Join our assisted living nursing team at The Lutheran Home Hearthstone in Arlington Heights, IL. The Lutheran Home Hearthstone Assisted Living is hiring a Registered Nurse for our PRN nursing team. This role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to build ongoing relationships with residents in a faith-based senior living community.

Requirements

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions and procedures
• Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test.
• Employees in this position must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with physician orders and care plans
• Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions and changes
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and team members
• Respond to resident needs and emergencies promptly and professionally
• Support a resident-centered environment that promotes dignity and independence
