About The Position

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking passionate and caring Registered Nurses specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence (NSWOC) to join their team. The role involves providing exceptional nursing care with respect, dignity, and kindness, utilizing clinical judgment and skills to ensure clients receive the highest quality care. The position is based in Chatham-Kent, Windsor-Essex, and surrounding areas, with potential for virtual visits. Requirements

  • Current Registration as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Certification as a NSWOC/Enterostomal Therapist.
  • Debridement Certification.
  • Advanced wound care expertise.
  • Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current registration with the provincial licensing body.
  • Certification as Nurse Specialized in Wound Ostomy & Continence (NSWOC) or International Interprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC) or Canadian Nurse Associate Certification (WOCC).
  • Two years previous experience in the development of wound care management programs in the hospital or community setting.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Clear criminal background check (with vulnerable sector screening).
  • Negative TB test.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous visiting nursing experience will be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Providing exceptional Nursing care to clients.

  • Conducting virtual visits if appropriate.
  • Streamlining documentation and effective communication using company-provided mobile devices.
  • Providing care in the Chatham-Kent, Windsor-Essex, and surrounding areas.
