Requirements
- Current State of Tennessee Registered Nurse licensure
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree or RN Diploma in Nursing
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required to be current upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Utilizing specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator.
- Shaping exceptional patient journeys every day and leveraging skills and cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.
- Responsible for all assigned nursing care activities to include but not limited to wound care for patients of all ages and other clinical activities associated with providing safe patient care.
- Following all WHC policies and procedures, care protocols and Diversified Clinical Services Practice Guidelines, as directed by a Registered Nurse, or Physician.
- Assisting with patient and wound care data conferences.
- Demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients served on his/her assigned unit as described in unit-based competencies, policies and procedures.
- In collaboration with other staff members, provides bedside patient care, implementing the interventions identified in the plan of care, as directed by physician.
- Ensuring appropriate patient care documentation.
- Implementing and assuring compliance with wound center and hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintaining familiarity with regulatory standards.
- Reporting quality of care issues to clinical manager or Program Director.
- Ensuring availability of necessary equipment and supplies.
- Communicating with all team members regarding therapeutic interventions.
- Non-Essential Functions and Other duties as assigned.
