Registered Nurse (RN) - Women's Health/OB
About The Position
Join our OB unit at Aurora Medical Center-Bay Area where you will provide comprehensive care for antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn patients. The department features private rooms, advanced fetal and telemetry monitoring, a secure newborn nursery, and an on-unit surgical suite for scheduled and emergent procedures. Care is delivered by a collaborative RN-led team working closely with on-site or on-call support teams, with a focus on safety, patient education, and positive outcomes for mothers and babies. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Neonatal Resuscitation within 6 months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
