The purpose of this position is to provide nursing care to patients. The framework for practice will be the nursing process in order to prescribe, delegate and coordinate nursing care. The RN has contact with patients, patient families and visitors, LRH employees, referral agencies, volunteers, administration, and physicians. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this position. The RN must be able to supervise patient care, secure cooperation from others, problem-solve, and exercise initiative and judgement. We deliver around 325 babies each year in our Level II nursery. We care for the pediatric and gynecologic needs of our area as well. We are seeking candidates who have at least one year of Medical/Surgical experience or experience with labor and delivery. We provide extensive orientation to welcome new team members to our area!
