About The Position
This is a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse, RN professional to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Loyola Medicine's 3 hospitals are located approximately 30 minutes from Downtown Chicago. The Urology Clinic includes two procedure rooms and four pre-op rooms. The RN prepares patients for ultrasound, prostate biopsies or cystoscopies. Assists the surgeon during procedures and manages post-procedure discharges.
Requirements
- A Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN
- BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
- Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire
Responsibilities
- Prepares patients for ultrasound, prostate biopsies or cystoscopies.
- Assists the surgeon during procedures.
- Manages post-procedure discharges.
