This is a part-time position with a minimum of 3 shifts per month, including one weekend shift. The role involves engaging in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices. The nurse will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families throughout their care continuum. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, adjusting care plans, mobilizing resources, collaborating with the care team, and upholding a culture of safety. The role also involves administering medications, treatments, and therapies, demonstrating effective communication, pursuing professional development, and adhering to ethical standards. Appropriate delegation to other nursing staff and accurate EHR documentation are essential. The nurse may be required to float to other units or facilities to meet patient care needs and must demonstrate age-specific competency. The pay range for this position is $35.50 - $53.25.
